Week #14 –Love Sharing What I am Learning

It was a pleasure and very challenging during the Holidays to be with family and friends.  My thought process was challenged at every turn.  Being with family is so automatic and easy to fall into old habits and ways of being.  Going into the Holidays with new awareness and the development of new habits and ways of thinking was glorious.  I was able to catch myself very quickly when I noticed I was going into old ways of being with my family and was able to redirect my thought and have new outcomes with my family members.  It turned out really great and we had a blast with each other.

I found myself sharing what we are learning with my friends and family.

The conversations where deep, fun, engaging and they wanted to know more about what we are learning.

I didn’t think it would be so easy.  I was pleasantly surprised at the interest and  reception of the information.

I also, found that I am at a turning point and have up the level of seriousness with doing the assignments.  I have been doing them all and will continue to do them but the difference is I know how powerful the simple exercises are and the outcomes that can occur in doing them with intentionality and focus.  I can’t imagine living life with out practicing and then practicing more going forward.

From the Haanel study material this week

“If you enter into the discipline necessary to bring about a radical change in your life, you must do so deliberately, after giving the matter careful thought and full consideration, and then you must allow nothing to interfere with your decision.”

This discipline, this change of thought, this mental attitude will not only bring you the material things which are necessary for your highest and best welfare, but will bring health and harmonious conditions generally”

“If you wish harmonious conditions in your life, you must develop an harmonious mental attitude.”

“Your world without will be a reflection of your world within.”

Practice is a small price.

  1. It was such a great thing to have 3 months of new habits behind us going into the holidays. You are right though. It is really time to get serious and finish strong. I felt very similar to you during the holidays. Keep going, we are all rooting for your new realities that you discover.
